
One of the oldest surviving temples of India.
The temple got it’s name for the lavish show of sculptures depicting various scenes from Dasavatara or ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu all around the temple.
The temple belongs to Gupta era, dating back to fifth century AD.
Temple is on the banks of river Betwa, within a dilapidated fort complex.
It is near to Lalitpur town close to Gwalior city in Madhyapradesh.
