An famous and ancient abode of Lord Hanuman- the trusted aid and follower of Lord SirRam of Ramayana.

Legend is Lord Hanuman rested at this place on his way back to Lanka after collecting Sanjivani from the Himalayas. The holy medicine of Sanjivani is used to rejenuvate monkey force of Lord Sri ram on their fight with Ravan- the demon king of Lanka.

The temple is on a hill top which require a little trekking to reach the top. The shrine is said to have foot prints of Lord Hanuman on it.

The hill is adjacent to Shimla town and offers a good view of it.It takes about 45 minutes from the base camp- Scandal point.

Please take care of your self from the wild monkeys that surround the temple premise.
