Madan Mohan Temple, Vrindavan

This is the oldest surviving temple of Vrindavan, built in 1560 AD.

The temple is atop a small hill known as Aditya Tila.

Temple is closely associated with great Vaishnavite saint Sri Vallbhacharya.

During the rule of Mogul King Aurangazeb, the original idol of the temple is shifted to a shrine to Karauli in Rajasthan to save it from destruction.

The temple is situated at Kalighat in Vrindavan.

Sri Shahiji temple built by a Jweller in 1876, Sri Radhvallabha temple and Banke Bihari temple are other noteworthy temples of Vrindavan.
