The dakshina talpa (“talpa” means couch) of the Goddess fell here.

The Shakthi peeth is in a temple pond near to Tripurantakeswar temple in Tripurantakam village near Srisailam.

Please note that the location is disputed. Many believe it is the ancient Sarada temple in Ladakh, presently in Pak occupied Kashmir (POK), and for few others the Kali Mandir of Jainpur, near Sylhet in Bangladesh, is the place.
